Alternative to SEO on Claude

Claude is costly and rate-limited for day-to-day SEO. Also, without enough context, Claude's answers are just random general recommendations. Use oohoom's AI assistant with affordable models, check AI visibility across models, and still get a human expert when you need to verify the answer.

Anthropic's Claude is a strong model. There are tons of LinkedIn posts on how to use it for SEO/AEO/GEO. They add some "Skills" or "Prompts" and they think it's done! NO! IT IS NOT!

Without enough context, Claude's answers are just guessing and random general recommendations based on Claude's own knowledge and your public data.

You need to get your performance data from Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and Bing Webmasters data into the chat. You can wire up a third-party MCP server, or you run MCP servers yourself (Good luck with coding while you're trying to ship SEO work).

Claude's usage limits get in the way of SEO work

Expensive Anthropic's models are rate-limited. Limits reset about every five hours. Even paid plans (Pro, Max, Team) have a separate weekly cap. Hit the wall at the middle of an audit and you have to wait for the quota to refresh, upgrade, or burn extra credits.

That is a poor fit for SEO days that need many small turns across GSC cuts, query counting, URL checks, and draft iterations and you want some works to be done recurrently. You want a non-stop data worker, not a rolling quota clock.

You cannot ask Claude what other models say about your brand

AI visibility and citations are not a Claude-only question. You need to know how ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and other systems talk about your brand, products, and keywords.

You cannot simply prompt Claude to “ask the other AI models” and treat that as a real check. Claude does not query those systems for you. At best you get Claude's guess about what others might say, which is useless for citation tracking.

Run SEO with oohoom's AI assistant

In oohoom, GSC, GA4, and related SEO tools are already wired into the Assistant. You connect your accounts once instead of babysitting MCP servers, then chat in one place. Pick affordable models for routine work without Claude pricing or Claude's rate limits.

Affordable models that can do the job

oohoom's model list includes capable, cheaper options, for example Grok 4.5, ChatGPT-5.6 Luna, Mimo V2.5, Minimax M3, DeepSeek V4. Some of them are even faster than top-tier models.

You can use a stronger model when the task is ambiguous or high impact. Use a cheaper capable model when your junior SEO can do the job: search in Google, drafting meta options, finding low-hanging fruit keywords, or drawing a custom chart out of your GA4 data.

That mix is how you keep quality without paying Claude rates for every SEO loop.

AI still needs a human SEO check

Cost, rate limits, and lack of context aren't the only problems with relying on “SEO on Claude alone”. You also can't fully trust recommendations without input from someone who understands search and has years of business experience. The knowledge you won't find in any AI model's training database, since that information isn't public data.

Models invent confident quick actions. They miss website history, strategies, and priorities. A fluent answer is not the same as a valid SEO decision.

oohoom is built for that gap: use AI on your data for speed, then summon a real human SEO consultant in the chat when you need strategy reviewed, priorities challenged, or AI suggestions approved before you ship them.
